How can I download and embed my PRISMA 2020 flow diagram?

Your PRISMA 2020 flow diagram can be downloaded from the DistillerSR environment and embedded into your systematic review if desired. The flow diagram can be downloaded as either a PDF file or as an Excel file by clicking the Download button. The Excel format is beneficial in that calculations and modifications can be made outside of DistillerSR, but this format requires a few additional steps to save it in a static format so that the formatting of the diagram doesn't break.  

1. After downloading your flow diagram, open the Excel document containing the flow diagram.
2. Select all the cells of flow diagram and copy them.
3. In your Word document, paste the flow diagram using the Paste Options > Paste as Picture option. 
4. Alternatively, you can save the flow diagram as a PDF. Go to File > Print, and select "Microsoft Print to PDF". Clicking Print will prompt you to save the file as a PDF document. By default, it should be set to fit-to-page.

Note: When using the Excel download option, ensure that the PRISMA citation is included for copyright purposes - it can be copied from the PRISMA 2020 DistillerSR screen (located at the bottom of the screen).
